Elecex have developed the world's first ATEX and IECEx certified portable air conditioning system.

The Elecex Air is designed specifically for hazardous areas and built to the highest and most exacting international standards with a wide variety of functions and features to ensure it can solve the toughest climate problems the industry has, anywhere on the globe and anywhere on the facility.

At 25kW of cooling capacity the Elecex Air has the ability to cool massive spaces, cool multiple locations simultaneously or create huge temperature differentials.

  1. The elecex air allows you to control the temperature of the conditioned space in 1°C, perfect for applications where controlling the temperature is critical. It also has a multitude of sensors measuring, monitoring and controlling every aspect of its functions so you don’t have to.
  2. With ATEX and IECEx certification for use in Zones 1 and 2, the elecex air can be use globally and anywhere on your onshore or offshore facility. The certification allows it to be used in ambient temperatures up to 50°C in areas with IIB gases.
  3. The elecex air has been designed to be as flexible as possible to ensure as wide a variety of uses as possible. It can self-regulate its cooling power output to meet the demands of the application, outputting as low as 8kW and as high as 25kW of cooling power.
  4. The elecex air is a step change in hazardous area air conditioning. It’s size, function, interface and flexibility have all been made possible by the numerous innovations driven by our team of experts, users and engineers.
